PRIVATE TENNIS LESSON COST IN SHENZHEN?
Coach, how much is the tennis lesson in Shenzhen
and how much elsewhere?
To answer as a coach, how much is a lesson, know that it is a very tricky question and deserves an even trickier answer.
When a coach is approached and asked for the price of a lesson, believe me,
there is really no short answer because it depends on several factors.
Also, is it outdoor or indoor, what surface is it, what time of the day? Is it the weekend?
Is indoor court using heating or cooling?
Let’s presume that the cost of a tennis court is irrelevant, but keep in mind
that court prices go from $10 up to 50$ per hour.
What parameters have a coach considered in order to establish the correct/realistic price?
1. What level is a player on?
2. What is the goal, how far does a player want to go?
3. How often per week, and how long the lesson should be?
4. What is the coach’s fee? What is the coach’s reputation?
5. Where is the coaching taking place?
6. Is it a private or group class?
7. In what country is it taking place?
8. And again – depends on what a player/client wants to gain and how quick.
If a beginner or lower intermediate level comes to me – it is one price.
If a better intermediate or advanced player comes – it is a different price,
at least a few times up.
If a tennis coach comes for advice on how to fix some obstacle – it is
much more different price, probably ten times up.
So, if I say that the tennis lesson is between 10 and 300 dollars, I will not
say anything wrong, right?
If you think that this answer is not very helpful, let me ask you
how much a breakfast coast? Or a bottle of wine?
Joke on the side – if you give answers to the questions above made, I can
give you much closed numbers.
The best advice I can give you is to do good research who will teach
you or your kid.
My best advice is to clarify with a coach what s/he can guarantee you.
Like that, you pay for milestones and not for a lesson – the tennis coach is not a taxi
to work on the taximeter.
I work this way for the last 15 years and the tennis life is much easier.
But this works for a coach who knows his job.
In Belgrade, the average lesson is between 15 and 50 $. A court is between 10 and $30.
In Shenzhen, a lesson is between 15 and 100 $. A court is between 10 and 30$.
Good luck in lesson hunting.
